English Defence League has a right to be heard
John Tanner says the police should have asked the Home Secretary to ban the EDL march held on April 4.
To its credit, the police held out against this demand by Oxford City Council and Mr Tanner. I hold no sympathy with the EDL but they have a right to be heard.
Mr Tanner and co wish to deal with intolerance with more intolerance. How democratic!
