Lack of parking could cause a patient’s death
Oxfordshire County Council and Oxford City Council’s “assertion” (March 20) that there will be no more car parking spaces at the John Radcliffe or Churchill hospitals should be allowed is illogical and dangerous.
It will cause deaths as patients find it impossible to access the hospitals due to lack of parking.
When this occurs, the councillors should be charged with culpable manslaughter and thrown in jail, as would happen to any private company in such a case!
Surely our Prime Minister can enact a compulsory purchase plan to buy up the land required for new car parking spaces at the hospitals in question.
