I AM delighted to see that three of the Liberal Democrat Parliamentary candidates have promised to challenge the SHMA housing report.
With less than eight weeks until polling day, I am pleased that they have now acknowledged the position that all six Ukip candidates have been promoting since November 6, 2014, or in some cases even earlier.
The fact that they can copy a long stated Ukip position shows that a new form of consensual, less adversarial, politics may be possible in the next Parliament – something that could only restore trust in the political process.
