AGAIN we see the people at the top not taking the blame following the publication of the Serious Case Review into the Bullfinch scandal.

Just stating we have improved our ways of working.

This should not have happened to the children. A full inquiry must take place examining each authority involved and all those found failing in their duty of care to the children must be made answerable.

These children need to see their suffering is being redressed, not listen to people’s excuses.

Robust action must be taken now to ensure this never happens again and this action must be seen by the public to be acted on.

If the authorities cannot protect the vulnerable people, what chance has anyone else got in society?
