RECENTLY, probably in the hours of darkness, athe driver of a bright blue vehicle drove across the grass verge and into my newly rebuilt driveway wall opposite the Red Cow in Chesterton, causing considerable damage. There were no witnesses but there is paint residue on the bricks and the stonework. I would have thought so much more of that driver if he or she had come to the door and acknowledged what had happened.
This is the second incident. Last summer a coach tried to make a manoeuvre in my driveway and gouged out an arc from the asphalt.
They say things happen in threes.
I wonder where the third vehicle will come to rest?
