Elvis Presley was most modest about his own charitable endeavours but would have approved of impersonator Miguel Olivarez-Alverez’s kind gesture to sing for dementia sufferer Nick Stanton the day before his 52nd birthday.
No doubt Nick was All Shook Up and overjoyed at seeing his rock’n’roll hero. Mr Olivarez- Alverez said: “To make someone’s wish come true is the most wonderful thing one human can do for another.”
Mr Olivarez-Alverez obviously shares some of the king’s famous compassion for others. A lovely heart-warming story and a great idea by Nick’s care home staff.
