I am a close neighbour of the First Foot Forward homeless project for young people (formerly the Bridge). I am saddened to hear that it will no longer be funded, and that Oxford City Council will probably sell the property.
I have never had any problem with anti-social behaviour from the young people living at the project.
I hope the city council uses the property for social housing for young families. I also hope that the young people at the hostel are housed somewhere else in the city – we have enough problems in Oxford with homelessness.
