Local planners and local politicians leave me in despair. Their innovative ideas include bypassing the A34 bypass.
This will plough across the Green Belt past several Oxfordshire villages. We need real innovations rather than laying more tarmac to shovel traffic through Oxfordshire.
Shall we tunnel under Boars Hill, concrete over the Thames and relocate Botley when these new roads are full? Enough is enough.
We need alternatives to driving along the A34 during the rush hours. Better public transport, rail links to Science Vale, local rail stations, homes near the workplace, home working, flexible work hours and local shops are a good start.
