It’s important to let workers and employers know that £8.36 is the current rate for the Oxford Living wage, rising to £8.69 from April 2015.
If we really want to cut our benefits bill, we should make work pay.
Sixty per cent of those receiving “working age” benefits are actually in work – but have poverty pay.
