The workmen could at least have looked busy
At 9am last Saturday I was driving from Abingdon Road, round the ring road contraflow towards the A34, when I spied three workmen standing smoking.
With all the disruption etc. they could have at least looked busy. Were they cocking a snoot at us?
When I think of the disastrous effect this is having on businesses, appointments, bus timetables, people’s jobs, home care, collecting children etc, it is no wonder that the Oxford Clinical Commissioning Group have identified the two major conditions they are having to address are high blood pressure and adult depression. Does anybody care?
