I SEE that Vale council are now calling Doric’s plan the “Botley District Centre”. This prejudges an issue that is still not settled – whether any such new “centre” is a local need or a rational part of local planning.
Botley needs a sensible refurbishment, not a transformation into something alien and unwanted.
