I was disgusted to see an article by Peter Hughes, lauding the qualities of a grave digger who “made good the grave where Jayden was buried”.

To see the picture of a grinning man through his grave digging shovel, holding a trophy, just a few weeks after her murderer was jailed was unbelievably callous.

What could possibly have been going on in the journalist’s head to think that this was appropriate?

More to the point, how did the editor think that this story was acceptable? Unforgivable. How will Jayden’s family feel?
