Driving the buses out of Cornmarket was, I well remember, the crowning achievement of the last Oxford Transport Strategy back in 1999.
The next transport shake-up must do even more to provide safe, convenient and attractive walking space for shoppers, visitors and students alike to dream in our city of spires.
