IT was lovely to see the picture (July 10) of county councillors Hudspeth and Nimmo Smith enjoying themselves on the river at Henley – wonderful.

So perhaps for their next trip together, they will travel down the London Road, Headington, and take a few selfies stood next to potholes and so on.

I shall say no more.

Haven’t Doric’s plans for Botley now become a running joke? Every so often they announce an upcoming revised version, then it’s delayed, then it turns up with hardly an alteration – a metre lower here or there, a few more or less students.

I find it somewhat sad that after nearly a third of a century of being the Member of Parliament for Banbury the worst the Banbury Labour Party can do to criticise me is to attack the school I went to.

On Monday evening I lost my black and white whippet on the top of Boars Hill. I was told by passers-by that she was heading down Hinksey Hill towards the A34. And she did indeed go on to the dual carriageway.

Terry Roper (September 12) does not like anti-warmongers making their case publicly in Bonn Square using a megaphone. So he insults them quite gratuitously by suggesting that they support public executions etc.
