THOSE looking to the heavens and asking why there is still a hosepipe ban have really not gripped the seriousness of the drought.
Yes there has been huge deluges, but Thames Water and other suppliers would not have slapped water restrictions on if it could be solved by a few rainy days.
We may be getting the worst of both worlds at the moment but no one should be under any illusions the hosepipe ban is ending any time this summer.
