Election season is upon us, with half of the city council’s 48 seats up for grabs.
And we will be losing a number of high-profile and-long serving councillors, of all political hues, who will stand down.
Regardless of what we thought of their policies and politics over the years, they should all be thanked for the service they have given this city.
On May 3 residents can have their voice heard, we hope there is a strong turnout.
