THE mighty Yellows and 10,000 passionate fans have done the city proud.

It was a nail-biting 95 minutes as United gave one of their best performances – and against a Premier League team at that.

It is this sort of giant-killing that makes the FA Cup such an engrossing contest and Oxford United have provided the Cup’s first major upset of the year.

Now we must wait with bated breath until 7.15pm tonight to see which team we draw in the fourth round. Of course, we still might not know for definite as there are a great many replays. So the draw tonight might be an ‘either, or’.

Our fingers are crossed that it might be a big club such as Manchester United.

That would keep the chairman very happy and bring Oxford United a lot of cash.

There is no doubt that, whoever we draw, it’ll be an incredible match for both U’s fans and players.

A sell-out crowd at the Kassam Stadium yesterday showed football fans across the UK how it’s done, with home fans roaring the boys in Yellow to victory.

Everyone at the ground was impressed by the electric atmosphere and amazing scenes at the finish.

Now we need to keep the ball rolling and attack our next showdown with as much gusto as we can muster.

We wish the lads all the best for their JPT southern final against Millwall on Thursday. Come on you Yellows!
