THE barbaric attacks in Paris on Friday night shocked us all.
Yesterday’s march in support of the victims, their families and the people of France showed how quick Oxford has been to show solidarity with our friends and allies across the channel.
At a time of unimaginable suffering public displays of support, including the one outside the Radcliffe Camera, are hugely important. They demonstrate to the victims of the attacks that the rest of the free world is with them.
And they are a powerful message to the murderers responsible for Friday’s bloodbath that all good people are united against them.
The people of Oxford clearly showed how determined they are to stand against terror.
