SOMETIMES we can lose some of our faith in humanity amid tales of crime and corruption in the national news.
And so it is always a delight when the world surprises us with a glimmer of goodness and reassures us people can be great.
Such is the story of Katie Coston who was stunned to get back an item of pottery stolen from her shop two years ago.
Nobody knows who the mystery man is who spotted the item at a carboot sale and bought it for £10 and then returned it to its rightful owner.
But whoever he is, the man has helped restore our faith in our common man.
