Comment: We must take pride in wearing a poppy
WHATEVER your political stance, there is no denying that our servicemen and women in the military do an incredible job.
We would encourage everyone to donate to the Royal British Legion and wear their poppy with pride.
In Oxfordshire we are home to both Army and RAF bases, and the personnel there contribute a great deal to their local community.
By wearing the poppy, we show our respect for what they, and the brave people that went before them, do to keep us safe.
