UNITARY status is unsurprisingly not a topic politicians will want to broach in the weeks before the election.
And so it’s no surprise Ian Hudspeth finds himself alone in his pursuit of the idea.
But once the votes have been counted and normality returns, it is something that has to be considered.
This paper has asked before who exactly is running the city, and there are valid questions over how many resources are being used having two different organisations seemingly at the helm.
