What a wonderful surprise it was for many to see Army Reserve band the Waterloo Band and Bugles of the Rifles take over Broad Street this Saturday.
Families clapped and danced along as the military band delighted shoppers in a musical flash mob.
Our brave military reservists deserve their day in the spotlight and should be applauded, not just for their talent with the tunes, but for the work they, ordinary folk just like the rest of us, do to protect our country.
