In the run-up to Christmas, lots of teenagers are thinking about what latest must-have item they will ask for their present.
But Angharad Davies, from Langford, Bicester, has turned her attention to the county’s homeless.
The 17-year-old has shown remarkable caring for the less fortunate and begun a petition to open a new shelter in the town, after witnessing the problem of homelessness on a trip to the USA.
Let’s hope the rest of the town backs the impressive teen’s campaign.
It is a reminder the festive period is about giving to others, especially those more needy.
