Ever-evolving English should be embraced
YOU would need to be a ‘shiny bum’ not to realise words are always evolving.The latest entries show the imagination and creativity of us all in the way we speak English.
From duckface to man crush, our vocabulary is ever-expanding.
The purists may moan, but perhaps they are just ‘wel jel’ they didn’t coin the phrases themselves and simply hate change.
For the rest of us, we’re too busy making sure not to PSML when watching the latest lolcat.
