THE campaign to ensure life-saving defibrillators are close to everyone outside of Oxford continues apace, and it is encouraging that it is has also raised awareness of the need for first aid knowledge.
As we report today, South Central Ambulance Service’s Dick Tracey taught almost 150 people last month. Last year, he did not teach anyone.
The campaign to have 320 defibrillators is going splendidly and we are proud to back it.
But the true test of how this has struck a chord with our communities must surely be people’s interest in gaining more knowledge.
