LIKE glimpsing a brief trailer months before the big Hollywood blockbuster is released, residents have got a sneak peek of what the revamped Westgate centre will look like.
The plans look tantalising. Art-house movie firm Curzon Cinemas and designer Michael Kors add to the high-end ambitions alongside John Lewis.
But, like any trailer, the fear is the final product will not be quite as impressive as the highlights reel. And then there is always the fear someone will back out before the final wrap.
Let’s hope when the Westgate opens even the harshest critics will be delighted.
