WHEN off-street parking in Oxford city centre is so expensive it is not surprising that a pop-up car park is now undercutting the city council.
City councillor John Tanner makes the point that illegal pop-up car parks could attract more cars into the city centre at a time when it is already congested, but perhaps it’s a useful reminder that some of the council charges are far too high.
