YOU were as moved by the story of five-year-old Skye Hall as we were reporting it, judging by the amazing response.
The Abingdon child is dying from a brain tumour and time is running out to fulfil his bucket list of wishes – using a hydrotherapy pool and carrying out an ice-cream prank.
Time is of the essence but the compassion and determination from strangers is greatly encouraging and everyone involved is hopeful Skye will get his dream.
When the world is full of conflict and anger, moments like these remind us of the generosity and loving nature we all possess.
It is just a shame more often than not it only comes to light in the face of tragedy.
