A LIBERAL Democrat councillor will quiz a Vale of White Horse District Council cabinet member over claims £10m is left over in developer contributions waiting to be spent.
Whenever developers build in districts, they pay money to councils to help with infrastructure, which authorities then decide on how to spend.
Emily Smith will ask Mike Murray, the council's cabinet member for development and regeneration at a meeting on Wednesday: "With these funds needing to be spent by various dates before having to be returned to developers, where can I find the council’s strategy for delivering these desperately needed affordable homes?"
