THE first line-up announcement for Oxjam Oxford 2018 has been announced with Lucy Leave, Flatlands, and Inner Peace Records all set to take to the stage.

The performers are just some of those that have been confirmed for the one-day event in October which will see about forty bands and artists performing across six venues in east Oxford.

Other acts playing at Oxjam Oxford include Ghosts in The Photographs and MSRY.

Oxjam Oxford, which is part of the UK's largest grassroots music festival, will take place on Saturday, October 27.

Oxjam Festival manager, Mel Chabert said: “We’re delighted to announce some great acts for Oxjam Oxford, with more set to follow.

"This year’s event will take place at six great Cowley Road venues and I’m very grateful to each of them for agreeing to donate their space to support Oxfam.”

Wristbands are now on sale and provide access to all the festival venues The Bullingdon (front bar), The Library, Truck Store, Café Tarifa, James Street Tavern and The East Oxford Community Centre.

A new series of jazz nights will also be held this year in the run up to the festival.

The gigs will take place at The Varsity Club on the last Thursday of every month from June 28.
