THE Conservatives have held onto a seat on Witney Town Council.
Three candidates were competing to represent the Witney North ward on Thursday following the departure of Tory Carol Reynolds.
Conservative candidate Andy McMahon held the seat for his party with 415 votes, beating Trevor License, of Labour, who had 374.
John Cole of the Liberal Democrats was in third place.
