REPRESENTATIVES from Oxford's new twin city Wroclaw visited the City of Dreaming Spires this week.
The party was headed by Wroclaw City Council chairman, Mr Jacek Ossowski, who arrived yesterday for talks about signing a friendship agreement.
Mr Ossowski met representatives of the City Council, Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University, and cultural and community organisations, including the Oxford Polish Association, Rose Hill Community Centre and Oxford Playhouse.
He also attended a reception at the Town Hall this morning attended by Lord Mayor Colin Cook and former Oxford City Council leader Bob Price.
Last May an Oxford delegation visited Wroclaw, which is the largest city in Western Poland.
The two university cities announced the partnership in April.
