GREEN-fingered residents in Lye Valley are being asked to spare an hour of their time to help the Oxford Convervation volunteers in their annual big gardening clean up.
The Friends of Lye Valley need help to remove rush and reed for the areas where the land is growing thick and fast on July 1.
Tools and refreshments will be supplied to help get the job done quickly, which organisers say gets easier every year.
