KENNINGTON Overseas Aid will celebrate 50 years of fundraising activities with an apt gold themed fete.

The golden anniversary will be celebrated at the annual fete on Saturday afternoon ih the hall of St Swithun's Church in Kennington with live entertainment, teas and stalls.

It follows what could be the final Bagley Wood Fun Run, following KOA's decision to disband in September.

The race, which lasted just shy of 30 years, raised a total of £1,376 for Tools for Self – Reliance, a charity aiming to end poverty in developing countries.
