VISITORS can join in the celebrations of Westmill Wind Farm’s 10th birthday by taking a tour of a wind turbine and watching a giant kite display at a special fun day organised by a community action group.
Those who head to the free event at the wind farm in Watchfield to join in the festivities will also be able to listen to live music and get crafty in hands on activities.
Organisers of the event will also award visitors, who they’ve invited to use their own sustainable energy to cycle to the event, with medals.
The fun day will take place from noon on June 16 to celebrate 10 years of wind energy production at Westmill.
