A SCHOOL near Oxford is championing a national scheme to engage children in science.
Garsington CE Primary School is hosting an event on Tuesday, June 19, as part of the Great Science Share for Schools.
The campaign features 10 curriculum-linked investigations aimed at inspiring young scientists across the country, aged between nine and 11.
Garsington pupils will take part in the activities with pupils from a project at Oxford University Museum of Natural History.
Sarah Bearchell, who organises the scheme in Oxfordshire, said: "Garsington pupils are always excited about science, and love experiments and making discoveries.
"This is a fantastic way to celebrate their work and ideas."
"We are really excited about welcoming some special guests to share our science with."
