STARGAZERS are invited to a beginners astronomy session in Abingdon on Monday.
The event is being put on by Abingdon Astronomical Society and is free for first-time attendees and members, £4 otherwise.
Starting at 8pm in All Saint's Church hall there will be talks by experienced members on observing with binoculars, imaging galaxies and stellar winds. For more information about the group, which holds monthly observation sessions at Frilford Heath golf club, visit abingdonastro.org.uk
