THE final decision on whether a puffin crossing should be installed on a crossing in Botley is likely to be signed off tomorrow.
Oxfordshire County Council has consulted on plans to install the improved crossing on West Way in Botley over recent months but 30 per cent of all responses were in favour.
The crossing on the road is currently staggered but the new crossing would take pedestrians all the way across West Way without any stop.
Botley's Lib Dem county councillor Judy Roberts said she is in favour of the crossing. Yvonne Constance, cabinet member for environment, will decide on the plan tomorrow at County Hall from 10am.
