CALLING all cheese lovers! A ‘cheeseology’ night is heading to the county, as part of Science Oxford.

The fromage-focused evening will consist of cheese-tasting and an exploration into the history and future of the food with experts Bronwen and Francis Percival.

The evening taking place at Abingdon Abbey on April 26 will be titled ‘Reinventing the Wheel: Milk and Microbes’. Experts will explore the reason cheese has become a household staple, and cheaper to produce.

Tickets cost £20 and include a complimentary glass of wine.
