VISITORS to the Ashmolean Museum have just over a week left to see an exhibition of artworks by Chinese artist Qu Leilei.
His striking work has been on show in the Khoan & Michael Sullivan Gallery of Chinese Paintings since November and the show will close on Sunday, April 15.
Qu Leilei was a founding member of the avant-garde ‘Stars Group’ in the late 1970s, and arrived in England in 1985. The display features a variety of images ranging from small sketches of life drawing to larger highly refined figure paintings, created from 1985 to the present day.
