ART lovers have one final chance to see a collection of drawings by renaissance master Michaelangelo.
Sketches ranging from fully formed portraits and architectural drawings to studies for greater works, such as his paintings for the Sistine Chapel are on show at Oxford's Ashmolean museum until tomorrow.
The month-long exhibition features 26 drawings which have recently returned from New York where they were a central feature of an exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, called Michelangelo: Divine Draftsman and Designer.
The Ashmolean has advised that due to 'unprecedented interest' in the free exhibition timed tickets are in operation.
Tickets are free but booking is strongly recommended via the museum website.
Last year the museum's display of drawings by fellow renaissance artist Raphael won curator Professor Catherine Whistler a Global Fine Art Award.
