OXFORD film-maker Sharon Woodward will tonight show a documentary about ska music she made with the help of crowdfunding.
The screening of the 60-minute documentary will take place at Film Oxford in Catherine Street, East Oxford, from 7.30pm to 9pm. Entry is £2.
The film Ska’d focuses on the band Symarip and the skinhead movement in the UK.
Ms Woodward is an award-winning film maker and her other work includes More Than Just A Mirror.
The 2016 documentary tells the story of the discovery of an Iron Age mirror which went on display at the Oxfordshire Museum in Woodstock. At the end of last year Ms Woodward documented an outreach project run with Stephen Baker and Priya Atwal, The Indian Army in the First World War: An Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Perspective.
