COUNCIL tax bills for 2018/19 have started to be sent out by local authorities across Oxfordshire.
All, including Oxford City Council, collect their own proportion of council tax – with other large chunks going to Oxfordshire County Council and Thames Valley Police.
The city council has said it continues to fight against Government cuts, part of which has meant its Revenue Support Grant has been cut by 56.85 per cent a year in a year – from £1.4m in 2017/18 to £630,000 this year.
