POPULAR children’s author Robin Stevens is to visit Blackwell’s store at the Westgate Centre in Oxford.
She will be at the bookshop on Saturday to sign copies of her new adventure, A Spoonful of Murder, the latest instalment of the Murder Most Unladylike Series. The signing is free.
Ms Stevens grew up in Oxford and in 2015 she won the Best Young Fiction category at the Waterstone’s Children’s Book Prize awards.
She won the prize for her novel Most Unladylike, the first in a series of boarding school murder mysteries.
Set in an all-girls school, the series features two schoolgirls called Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong, who set up their own secret detective agency at Deepdean School for Girls.
The story tells how they struggle to find any truly exciting mysteries to investigate, but then discover a science mistress, Miss Bell, lying dead in the gym.
