A NEW co-operative supermarket will be built of honey-coloured Cotswold stone and red brick, new designs have revealed.
The Midcounties Coperative’s new store in Southmoor will also have an old-fashioned slate roof.
The shop is being built on part of the Crossroads Garage site on Faringdon Road, just a few hundred yards away from a new Co-op supermarket in Kingston Bagpuize.
The Midcounties Co-operative submitted its proposed materials to Vale of White Horse District Council for approval and members of public can browse the designs online at whitehorsedc.gov.uk using reference number P18/V0495/DIS
