SCHOOLS across the county will embrace reading culture to mark World Book Day.
The national event takes place today and many schools will stage special celebrations.
The Manor Preparatory School near Abingdon is among those encouraging youngsters to dress up as characters from their favourite books.
Children in the school's nursery and reception classes will have a visit from children's book character Winnie the Witch.
