A CELEBRATION of progress and histories of the LGBTQ+ was held at an Oxford museum at the weekend.
The Pitt Rivers Museum hosted a varied event, Out in Oxford: Party at the Pitt, which included performances, activism and soapboxes for speakers to discuss what the community has overcomes over recent decades and what now needs to be achieved.
Oxford East MP Anneliese Dodds, city councillor Tom Hayes and Clara Barker, an Oxford University scientist and Stonewall, all attended on Saturday.
Others to have attended included Richard Howlett, of the Tales of Our City project.
