A SCIENCE campus let an extra 160,000 sq ft last year, which is claims is the largest combined commercial take-up and development of new space ever seen in Oxfordshire.
Of the new lettings at Harwell Campus, 83 per cent went to tech firms working across the space, life sciences and energy sectors.
Half were existing companies expanding their operations and half were new companies locating to Harwell
The campus is now planning to develop 750,000 sq ft in the first half of 2018 as its rapid expansion continues.
A total of 5.5million sq ft of planned development is expected by 2025.
