CHANGES to the management team running two Oxfordshire councils will be fully completed soon, the authorities have said.

Seven permanent heads of service have been appointed over recent weeks to serve alongside the chief executive of South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Councils, Mark Stone. Ian Matten is interim head of community services.

Mr Stone is paid £142,920 a year. The new heads of services are paid £92,109 a year.

Lucy Billen, a senior communication officer for the two authorities, said: "The new management structure has been agreed by full council. The vast majority of senior managers are now in post."
