A NEW book examining the origins of children’s favourite The Wind in the Willows is to be published by the Bodleian Library.
The Making of the Wind in the Willows by Peter Hunt is out next month, focusing on author Kenneth Grahame’s relationship with his son Alastair. It references letters and other archive material held in the Bodleian.
Mr Grahame, who died aged 73 in 1932, is buried in Holywell Cemetery.
The illustrated book costs £12.99.
